Friday injury reports are out for the Tennessee Titans and Jake Locker did not participate though he did throw a few passes to test out his injured right wrist. Charlie Whitehurst in all likelihood will be starting Sunday against the Indianapolis Colts. The full injury report is listed below per NFL.com:

Titans tight end Delanie Walker is also listed as limited in practice and will be questionable for the game but he told the media he expects to play. Head coach Ken Whisenhunt is a former tight end himself and could give some deference to Walker who is a 9th year veteran. Walker’s presence elevates the Titans offense and he has played almost seventy-five percent of the offensive snaps this season.
The loss of Jerrell Freeman will be huge for the Colts and makes Walker’s playing more important. The Colts have struggled with tight ends this season and losing Freeman will make covering him all the more difficult. I look for Walker to lobby hard to get on the field and to continue his string of strong offensive performances.
I have been a strong proponent of Locker but Whitehurst could give the Titans offense a boost. The Titans have struggled offensively the past two games and are ranked 20th in passing yards. They only scored 10 points against a weak Cowboys defense and 7 points against the Bengals. A spark is greatly needed and Whitehurst showed he is more than capable in training camp and pre-season.
The loss of Ropati Pitoitua will be big as we outlined in our preview but expect Karl Klug and others to step in and fill the gap. Young defensive lineman Mike Martin could see some extended playing time as he now appears to be healthy after battling a hamstring injury early on. It is doubtful Colts guard Hugh Thornton will play for the Colts and the Titans could get some real pressure on Andrew Luck.
