Per Ian Rapaport of NFL Network, the Titans are adding quarterback Jordan Palmer to their roster. Palmer, age 30, is a six year veteran who last played football in 2013 for the Chicago Bears. Palmer has only played in four games in his career garnering 10 of 15 for 59 yards, no touchdowns and two interceptions. He has a career quarterback rating of 34.4. Palmer played college football at Texas El-Paso and is the younger brother of injured Arizona Cardinals quarterback Carson Palmer.
The Titans are thin at the position with injuries to Zach Mettenberger and Jake Locker. No word yet on what roster move they are making to make room for Palmer.
Update: The Titans are placing quarterback Jake Locker on injured reserve.
